St Hugh’s has been a unique community and special place of learning since 1886. A welcoming, inclusive, and supportive academic community, the College has been shaped by philanthropy since the founding gift from Elizabeth Wordsworth. Since this original act of benefaction, many of our alumni have remained steadfast in their ongoing support to create a stellar environment for our students and academics.
